Description

The Südtirol Gewürztraminer of the Lafóa di Colterenzio line originates in vineyards located in the municipality of Cornaiano, in the province of Bolzano.

It is obtained from pure Gewürztraminer grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with cold maceration, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 10-12 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages on its lees for 12 months and in bottle for a further 6 months, before being marketed.

This Gewürztraminer is characterized by an intense straw yellow color. The nose opens with a complex spicy bouquet of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg, with fresh floral hints of yellow rose. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with a lively acidity and a slightly spicy aroma.

Perfect to accompany delicious appetizers and dishes based on fish and shellfish, this Gewürztraminer is ideal in combination with blue cheeses. Try it with typical Asian dishes.
