Olfactory entry with small black fruits, a nice note of dried spices, closing on hints of licorice. Compactness on the palate, a nice tannic tension and flavor.

The Lagrein of the Terra di Ritterhof line comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Gries, in the heart of the Bassa Atesina.

It is obtained from 100% Lagrein grapes, carefully selected by hand after the harvest. The vinification takes place traditional in steel tanks for about 10 days at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in large wooden barrels before being bottled.

It shows a ruby red color. On the nose it expresses evident hints of wild berries, accompanied by pleasant nuances of licorice. On the palate it is balanced and round, with a velvety texture and a good tannic structure.

Ideal with savory first courses, grilled meat, game and mature cheeses.
