Description

The Alto Adige Valle Isarco Gewürztraminer of the Novacella Abbey was born in vineyards located in the heart of Alto Adige DOC.

It is produced exclusively with Gewürztraminer grapes, harvested around the middle of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20 ° C, then the wine ages in the same containers for a period of about 6 months.

This Gewürztraminer is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose opens with a large and complex bouquet, with floral hints of roses and lychees, with pleasant notes of cloves and vanilla, enriched with aromas of sweet figs and grapefruit. On the palate it is full and aromatic, with a strong and persistent aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany curry dishes and aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with fish dishes.
