Description
Japanese Tea gin is produced by Kyoto Distillery, born in 2016.
The inspiration to create Gin Tea comes from Japanese bartenders, for whom tea is a very important ingredient. The dry gins from Kyoto are produced with local botanicals and Fushimi water with a process called Konwa, which involves, in addition to the botanicals, an alcoholic base of rice.
This gin is made with a blend of tea (Gyokuro and Tencha) specially created by Horii Shichimejen, a famous tea producer. The blend gives the gin a sweet, delicate and creamy taste.
It is recommended to taste it neat or as a base for preparing the best gin-based cocktails.
