Terre Siciliane Vermentino IGT Sentiero del Vento 2022 Duca di Salaparuta

Sentiero del Vento is a wine born in the Suor Marchesa di Duca di Salaparuta estate, located in Riesi, in the municipality of Butera, in the center of Sicily, a few kilometers from the sea. The estate by virtue of its geographical position enjoys good exposure to winds, in a climate characterized by very hot summers and mild and short winters.

Vermentino in purity. The harvest takes place in mid-September, once the perfect ripening of the bunches is reached. The flower must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes ferments for over 10 days at a temperature of 16 ° C. Refine for 2 months in steel on fine lees.

Brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections, the nose tells of fruity notes and Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth it is ample and velvety, with good freshness and minerality.

Excellent with fish and white meat dishes.
