Toscana IGT Casamatta Rosso 2019 Bibi Graetz

Casamatta red wine comes from the youngest vineyards of the famous Bibi Graetz winery, located near the Fiesole hills, overlooking the city of Florence.

This wine comes mainly from Sangiovese grapes (80%), to which Merlot and Syrah grapes are also added, coming from various areas of the Graetz estates. Like the white twin, also the red Casamatta is made by an assembly of wines obtained from the harvest of the last year to a cuvèe of wines of the last five years. A truly original winemaking process, in line with the artistic and original spirit of the Fiesole company.

It has a clear and very intense ruby red color. The nose is subtle, with intense notes of fresh red fruit, cherry among all, with some floral memories. In the mouth it shows a well-smoothed wine with tannins and lively acidity, with an interesting finish that proposes small berries and light spicy sensations.

Casamatta red wine is an immediate and easy to drink wine. Perfect for a dinner with friends. Ideal in combination with first courses and red meats, it can easily accompany all lunch.
