Description

Chardonnay In Avane is an elegant white wine from Tenuta San Felice, located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the province of Siena. This wine represents the link between the Etruscan tradition of the territory and winemaking innovation, offering a perfect synthesis between past and present.

The grapes are harvested by hand in the coolest morning hours, during the first week of September. After a short pre-fermentation maceration at 8°C, fermentation takes place both in steel and in oak barrels. The wine then ages in the bottle for a few months, developing a complexity and structure that make it suitable for aging for 5-8 years.

The bouquet opens with persistent notes of citrus and white flowers, among which stand out hints of broom and acacia. On the palate this wine stands out for its freshness and flavor, well balanced by a pleasant softness that envelops the palate with elegance.

In Avane it pairs perfectly with light first courses, white meats and sushi.
