Extremely captivating with feminine nuances of powder and sandalwood, it recalls an important presence of black plums, sour cherries, pink pepper, juniper berries and pine needles. In the background, the nuances of mandarin juice and guarana complex the matrix. Full body, perfectly ripe and polymerized silky tannins and a salty finish that closes intact and goes perfectly with a slight bitter presence typical of the matrix that bring a good amount of matter and are well supported by the acid backbone. Better from 2025.

Description

The Toscana Rosso Paleo of the Le Macchiole winery is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Bolgheri.

It is produced exclusively with Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested by hand between the second and third week of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 20 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barriques for 14 months, before being bottled.

It is characterized by a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of currant, enriched by pleasant spicy notes of coffee and green tea. On the palate it is rich and deep, with very dense tannins.

Perfect to accompany roasts and stews, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
