Toscana IGT Perolla Rosato 2020 San Felice

This rosé belongs to the Maremma line of San Felice, Perolla , synonymous with young, lively and versatile wines, with a strong aromatic component and a lot of freshness that make it the best choice for the summer season.

Fruit of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it is obtained from a part of must destined for a red vinification, subtracted after only 12-15 hours in contact with the skins, according to the saignée method, in order to give the product a pink color. Then there is the fermentation which takes place in steel at a controlled temperature and aging on its own yeasts for at least 30 days.

It is shown in the chalice of a cherry pink color. The nose is rich in aromas of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. The taste is fine and fruity, with the typical structure of young red wines and a good persistence.

Ideal for the whole meal, it is perfect in the company of appetizers based on croutons and cured meats, but it also goes well with soups and fish-based recipes.
