Description

This Tuscan red wine is produced by the Vallepicciola company from the Fontanelle vineyard, on the hills of Pievasciata, in Castelnuovo Berardenga.

It consists of 100% Sangiovese grapes, which are vinified in thermo-controlled cement tanks with 4 weeks of maceration. The wine ages in barriques for approx. 20 months.

In the glass the wine has an intense ruby red color. The nose has aromas of violet and cherry, tobacco and dark chocolate. The sip is soft and harmonious, easy to drink.

The wine is excellent with grilled beef steak and stewed meats.
