Trentino Pinot Nero DOC 2019

Pinot Nero Bonconsey is produced in Trentino from small hilly plots located at a maximum altitude of 500 meters above sea level

The grapes are harvested by hand and with the arrival in the cellar the grapes are de-stemmed and fermented in steel with continuous pumping over to extract the color. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is placed in small wooden barrels for malolactic fermentation. Then follows an aging of 15 months in barriques of different woods and ages before assembly in steel.

Pale ruby red in color, it has fruity scents of morello cherry, cherry and small ripe berries. On the palate it is enveloping and compact while maintaining elegance and style. Sapid and herbaceous notes blend in a fruity and persistent finish.

Ideal in combination with risotto, boiled meat and grilled white meats. Try it also with tagliolini with venison ragout.
