Trento Brut DOC Balter
Description
The Trento Brut Blanc de Blancs of the Balter Farm is produced in the Rovereto area within the 10 hectares owned by the winery.
This 100% Chardonnay comes from the vineyards of the Estate and the base wine results from a partial fermentation in barrique. The addition of liqueur de tirage starts a second fermentation in the bottle which continues with 36 months of ageing on the lees.
Deep straw yellow in colour with golden reflections, it has a fine perlage with hints of yeast, white flowers and wild herbs, all finished with delicate citrus fruits. Direct and crunchy on the palate, it maintains freshness and momentum for a persistent finish.
To be combined with cold cuts and cheese appetizers, omelettes and timbales, it is suitable for first courses of shellfish and grilled vegetables.
