Valle d'Aosta DOC Torrette Superiore 2020 Les Crêtes

The Valle d'Aosta Torrette Superiore of Les Crêtes is born in vineyards located in Vigne Les Toules di Sarre, an area with a high vocation of Torrette, in the province of Aosta.

It is made from 100% Petit Rouge grapes, harvested and selected only by hand in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C, for 8 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 8 months in steel and for a further 5 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market.

The Torrette Superiore of Les Crêtes is characterized by a ruby red color with purple hues. It opens on the nose with floral hints of dog rose and violet, enriched with fresh notes of ripe red fruit. On the palate it is balanced, full and enveloping, fresh and mineral on the finish.

Ideal in combination with mixed appetizers based on cured meats and cheeses, this red wine is perfect to accompany first courses, red and white meats.
