Description
Mario Bagella's Vermentino di Sardegna comes from vineyards cultivated in Romangia, in Sorso, in the province of Sassari.
Produced with 100% Vermentino grapes, it remains in contact with the skins for 18 hours, and then fermented with indigenous yeasts in a steel tank at a controlled temperature. Refines, always in steel, for 8 months on the lees.
It has a golden yellow colour. The nose opens with complex hints of Mediterranean scrub and iodized notes. The taste is fresh and intense, with a pleasant mineral finish.
Ideal in combination with pasta with bottarga and white meats.
