Description

The Beautiful Syrah from K Vintners is a red wine from the Walla Walla Valley in Washington State, produced predominantly from Syrah with a small portion of Viognier sourced from the Powerline Estate Vineyard, a high-altitude vineyard with river rock, sand, and gravel soils that provide balance, purity, and complexity.

The grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts as whole clusters in concrete vats, with co-fermentation of the varieties, extended maceration on the skins, and aging on the lees in French oak barrels, some of which are new.

The aromatic profile evokes black cherry, blueberry, grapefruit zest, black olive, dark rose, dried herbs, black tea, and crushed stone, with a generous, elegant, and dynamic palate, supported by freshness and polished tannins.

It pairs well with roasted red meats, duck, spice-rubbed lamb, smoked dishes, and hard cheeses.
