Made with grapes from the Municipality of Greve in Chianti, this Gran Selezione (93 pt JS) ages for 24 months in oak barrels and a further 6 months in bottle. The fruit freshness is completely preserved in the wine which on the nose offers hints of ripe cherry, light mentholated notes and a fine spiciness. On the palate it is of great roundness and softness, with smooth tannins and a pleasant and persistent taste. Wine of great longevity, it is perfect for truffles, game, meat sauces and roasts.

The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Tenuta di Nozzole Folonari is obtained from a Cru of the Tenuta di Nozzole, in the hills of Greve in Chianti.
After vinification, and a brief stop in steel for two months, the wine is transferred to seasoned 60 hl Slavonian oak barrels where it completes the aging for 24 months in the silence of the cellars.
