A6mani
Three women, six hands, one passion: this is the DNA of the A6mani project, which involves several farms in Salento whose common desire is to demonstrate the potential of these lands and its native vines. The vinification of Primitivo brings the best results, with the Primitivo di Manduria Riserva Concura which, according to the well-known critic Luca Maroni, wins the title of best red wine in Italy of 2019. The vineyards branch off from the center of Manduria and arrive up to the Ionian coast in the southernmost part of the province of Taranto, spreading out into districts, areas that are geographically close to each other but which differ in terms of insolation, amount of rainfall and ventilation conditions.
In the district of Li Marini the most fragrant white grapes are better suited, while in Monte la Conca structured and rather long-lived red wines are born based on Malvasia Nera grapes from Salento, Aglianico and Negroamaro. Troncarea and Mesola delle Volpi are the districts from which reds of high concentrations with sweet and fragrant fruit come to life. Campofreddo -Concura is the kingdom of Primitivo, a precious and ancient vineyard where arid cultivation is practiced due to the very scarce rainfall it can count on; the consequent low yields generate reds with an amazing concentration of extract, a rich and complex structure that integrates with the soft tannins that characterize the best Primitivo.
