Azelia
In the heart of the Langhe, in Castiglione Falletto, in 1920 the Cavalier Lorenzo Scavino began to vinify part of the grapes produced by the family vineyards, with the help of his son Alfonso and Luigi who began to bottle and export wine: a simple story, family, that of the Azelia winery, which today has 16 hectares of vineyards and produces an average of 80,000 bottles per year. Luigi is joined by his wife Lorella and his son Lorenzo, who now represent the fifth generation of wine producers. Great care in the work of the vineyard is the cornerstone on which the company rests as well as the absolute respect for nature: the low yields are further reduced through the green harvest, necessary to choose the fruits and bring them to perfect ripeness. Tradition meets modernity in the cellar, thanks to the use of the latest generation techniques.
