Ca' Maiol

The Ca 'Maiol winery is located in Desenzano del Garda, in the province of Brescia, with vineyards that extend into the production areas of DOC Lugana and DOC Valtenèsi. The estate consists of four farmhouses: the very name of the winery derives from the oldest, built in 1710 by the notary from Desenzano, Sebastiano Maioli.

Founded in 1967 by Walter Contato, the company is now in the hands of the sons Patrizia and Fabio, from whom the Lugana "Fabio Contato" takes its name , the best qualitative expression of the company, who carry on the tradition with the utmost care, attention and love family producing wines of great prestige. For some years, Ca 'Maiol production has been oriented towards organic farming, giving life to Molin Bio, the highest representation of Organic Lugana, of which the company is one of the few to produce.
