Thomson & Scott
Thomson & Scott is the company founded by Amanda Thomson, a wine specialist trained at Le Cordon Bleu and former BBC correspondent, which started out by producing quality Champagne. In 2019, the founder decided to focus on premium alcohol-free wines, giving rise to Noughty, one of the first brands to offer a complete range of alcohol-free wines designed to deliver a genuine wine experience, without compromise.
The idea sprang from an insight: while alcohol-free craft beers were conquering the market, alcohol-free wine remained underdeveloped, with few credible options for those seeking quality and variety. Noughty is therefore built on three pillars: quality in the vineyard, transparency in winemaking, and corporate responsibility.
The flagship of the range is Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay, from organically grown Chardonnay grapes on sandy and limestone soils in southern Spain. The wine is traditionally vinified in stainless steel, then dealcoholized via vacuum distillation with aroma recovery and finally lightly carbonated, yielding a 0.0% ABV result that is organic and vegan. Alongside it, the range includes Sparkling Rosé, Blanc, Rosé, Rouge and Monté.
In 2025, Amanda Thomson received the Entrepreneur of the Year award at the Drinks Business Awards, which recognized Noughty as a pioneering brand, now distributed in over 40 countries. Thomson & Scott thus proves that you can raise a toast in style even without alcohol.
