Librandi
The Librandi winery was founded in the 1950s in the province of Crotone, thanks to the strong bond that unites the Librandi family, which has run the company for 3 generations, and the Calabrian territory. Located on the slopes of Cirò and protected by the Sila plateau, the winery enjoys an excellent position for growing grapes and here the grapes are enriched with unique aromas and aromas, thanks to the temperate climate of the coast and the light Silan breeze.
The Calabrian wine heritage is the basis of Librandi's production; a heritage rich in history, traditions and unique characters, revisited according to the most modern techniques and technologies to enhance its qualities.
Calabria IGT Rosso Gravello 2022 Librandi
Librandi's Calabria Rosso Gravello was born in the homonymous vineyard of the Archdiaconate Estate in Strongoli.
It is produced with Gaglioppo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested only by hand during the first ten days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in Allier barriques for 12 months and for another 6 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
