The Tawny Port of Quinta de Santa Eufemia was born in the valley of the Douro river, famous for the production of Port wine.

It is made from Mourisco Tinto, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional grapes. Fermentation takes place partly in granite vats and partly in stainless steel tanks, then interrupted by the addition of brandy. After decanting in steel, the wine ages for 9 months in large wooden vats and barrels.
