Croatina

Croatina is a variety native to northern Italy, most likely from Oltrepò Pavese, also present in Piedmont, in the provinces of Novara and Vercelli and in Emilia on the Piacenza hills.

It is a rather rustic grape variety, which has spread mainly due to its resistance to diseases and good productivity. Vinified in purity, it gives a wine with good structure, with aromas of red fruits, rather rough tannic texture and low acidity.
