Known as the cradle of Malbec and nicknamed " Tierra del sol y del buen vino ", Mendoza is the heart of Argentina's wine industry. Located at the foot of the Andes, and more precisely on the slopes of Mount Aconcagua (6900 m), it is the place where the vines are grown at the highest altitudes in the world : on average between 600 and 1100 meters above sea level.

Among the most prestigious appellations are Luján de Cuyo , where the cellars that boast some of the oldest vineyards in the country are located , and Valle de Uco, with the Tupungato sub-area . Here the vineyards, also cultivated today in Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Chardonnay , constantly enjoy peculiar climatic conditions, with an alternation of dry and humid climates, and scarce and abundant rainfall that contribute to the production of extraordinarily unique wines.
