The main grapes used to produce these wines are Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, to which smaller percentages of native or international vines are added.

Valpolicella Ripasso is produced starting from the base Valpolicella wine, then kept on the residual Amarone pomace for about 2 weeks.

Amarone , on the other hand, is one of the most loved Italian red wines also at an international level. The grapes are partially dried and then used to produce a dry wine, which must refine for at least 2 years.
