Description

Conde de Caralt Brut is a Cava produced in the Penedès region, one of the most emblematic wine-growing areas of Catalonia, expressing the Mediterranean character through freshness, balance, and great drinking pleasure. The Conde de Caralt brand, founded in 1964, represents over sixty years of tradition in wine production, with a constant commitment to authenticity, quality, and stylistic consistency. This sparkling wine is made from a blend of the traditional grape varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada, which together define the classic and harmonious profile of Cava.

Vinification follows the traditional method with second fermentation in the bottle. The wine is aged on its lees for an extended period, allowing greater aromatic complexity, harmony, and elegance to develop, while retaining the typical freshness of Mediterranean grapes.

In the glass, it displays a bright straw yellow color and a lively, medium-intensity perlage. On the nose it is fresh and clean, with delicate white fruit notes accompanied by subtle evolved nuances. On the palate, it is smooth, balanced, and easy to drink, offering a pleasant balance of freshness and roundness that leads to a harmonious and persistent finish.

It pairs perfectly with seafood, baked fish, rice dishes, light pasta, tapas, and mild cheeses.
