Description

Chianti Classico Casalino by Bonacchi is produced on the hills of Siena. The vineyards surrounding the estate grow on soils made up of alberese and galestro. The logo on the label, featuring oak leaves, pays tribute to the artist Jacopo della Quercia, who lived in the 1400s and was born in the nearby village of Quercegrossa.

Made almost entirely from Sangiovese grapes, the grapes are vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where the wine ages for a period before bottling.

In the glass, the wine displays a bright ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of violet and red fruit, with delicate balsamic notes. The palate is balanced and pleasantly straightforward.

Chianti from Fattoria Casalino is ideal paired with pasta in meat sauce and grilled meats.
