Description

The Tuscan red wine Suisassi is produced by the Duemani company, a company founded by Elena Celli and Luca D'Attoma, a renowned winemaker. The winery is located in Riparbella, in the south of the province of Pisa, and is a Demeter certified biodynamic company.

The wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes, which are first of all destemmed (except for 30%). The fermentation of the grapes is spontaneous and takes place in barriques and truncated conical vats at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages for 22 months in oak barrels and tonneaux, without undergoing either clarification or filtration.

Intense ruby red in colour, the wine reveals fruity aromas of ripe black cherries and blackberries, licorice and nutmeg. The sip is warm, with round and well integrated tannins.

Excellent in combination with stewed red meats, risottos and aged cheeses.
