Description

What kind of wine is it

Arveja is a still white wine produced by Prunotto in the Piedmont region. Classified as Langhe, it comes from the vinification of Arneis grapes, processed to retain the primary characteristics of the variety. The style appears fresh and aromatic, characterized by a distinct floral and fruity profile. Its balanced structure offers a precise, clean, and pleasantly smooth tasting experience.

Where it comes from

The origin of this white is rooted in the territory of the Langhe, a Piedmontese area historically suited to the cultivation of native varieties. The grapes grow in carefully tended vineyards, where the climate and soil favor optimal grape ripening. The use of Arneis grapes allows the true identity of the territory to be expressed. This geographical connection results in a wine that faithfully reflects the aromatic imprint and agricultural tradition of its area of origin.

How it is produced

The production process begins with a manual harvest of the grapes, followed by a careful selection of the bunches. After a gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a maximum temperature of eighteen degrees for about fifteen days. Subsequently, the wine undergoes a period of low-temperature maturation, also in steel containers, lasting several months before bottling to maintain the varietal aromas intact.

Tasting notes

In the glass it displays a straw yellow color, enhanced by light greenish hues that highlight its vibrancy. On the nose, it develops an intense and broad floral bouquet, well integrated with pleasant fruity notes. On the palate it is balanced, as it shows a measured structure that leads the tasting towards a pleasantly long and persistent finish. The absence of wood aging leaves the purity and natural aromatics of the grape untouched.

Food pairing

This white is recommended to accompany light appetizers, selections of fresh cheeses, and various vegetable-based preparations. Thanks to its freshness and clean profile, it regularly pairs with all fish dishes and supports marine flavors without overpowering them. It is particularly suitable for enjoying with raw preparations, making it a consistent choice with sushi and other delicate dishes.

When to serve it

It is the right solution when you want to bring a fresh and well-defined white to the table, able to consistently pair with full seafood menus. It is ideal for lunches and convivial dinners where aromatic clarity plays a central role in highlighting food flavors. Thanks to its structure and floral character, it is also very well suited for informal moments, always guaranteeing a measured and balanced sip.
