Description
Viñedo Chadwick is a prestigious Chilean wine produced in the Puente Alto appellation, in the Maipo Valley, an area renowned for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. Created as a tribute to Don Alfonso Chadwick, it expresses the Chadwick family's tradition and expertise in crafting fine wines, with an identity deeply rooted in the Andean terroir and its natural elegance.
The wine is made mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon with a small percentage of Petit Verdot, selected to enhance precision, structure, and finesse. It is aged for about eighteen months, predominantly in French oak barrels and partly in foudres, to promote complexity, balance, and integration without compromising the purity of the fruit.
In the glass, it shows a deep and brilliant cherry-red color. The nose reveals a pure and fragrant profile, with floral notes of violet, black fruits such as blackberry and black cherry, raspberry, spicy nuances of white pepper, dill, nutmeg, and tobacco; on the palate it is fresh, juicy, and harmonious, sustained by chalky tannins and a firm yet elegant structure.
It pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, roast lamb, or peppered filet, enhancing its aromatic depth and tannic finesse.
