Description
Colección Vivanco Parcelas de Graciano is a red wine from Rioja made from Graciano grapes sourced from two selected plots, El Tablar de Zorraquín and El Cerrado. This wine represents an intense and refined expression of this native variety, capable of combining concentration, freshness, and aromatic depth.
The winemaking process involves manual harvesting in small crates, followed by separate fermentations for each plot with cold macerations and the use of wild yeasts. The wine is then aged in French oak barriques for an extended period, remaining on the fine lees to develop complexity, structure, and balance.
It shows a deep and intense violet color. On the nose, it reveals complex aromas of blackberry, plum, and other dark fruits, accompanied by herbal, spicy, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is balanced and enveloping, with soft tannins and a long finish that enhances the fruit's richness.
It pairs perfectly with red meats, game, and rich, structured dishes.
