Description

Sauternes Château Bastor-Lamontagne is produced in Preignac, in the heart of Bordeaux. This wine is made from a blend dominated by Sémillon, completed with Sauvignon Blanc, representing a modern style of the appellation focused on freshness, balance, and harmony. The estate emphasizes an elegant and approachable profile, also suitable as an aperitif or at the start of a meal.

The winemaking process is designed to preserve the aromatic purity of the grapes and the identity of the Sauternes terroir, where the natural conditions favor the development of noble rot. The selective harvest enables the production of rich, concentrated musts, which are then handled with care to maintain a balance between sweetness, freshness, and aromatic finesse.

In the glass, it displays a brilliant golden color. On the nose, it offers inviting aromas of white fruit, mango, pineapple, and citrus, accented by hints of jam and sweet spices. On the palate, it is fresh, round, and well balanced, with an elegant structure and a finish featuring notes of citrus zest, saffron, and ginger.

Pairs well with duck, chicken, blue cheeses, spicy vegetable tagine, chocolate desserts, and fruit pastries.
