Vibrant and decidedly engaging in the main profile it shows notes of red plums, plums, pressed blueberries, lavender, wild violet and linden. Medium-full body, spicy and true in the sip, it closes spicy and decidedly dark in the aftertasting, recalling cinchona and wet earth. Better from 2024.

Description

Il Toscana Rosso Il Blu di Brancaia is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Radda in Chianti.

It is produced with 50% Sangiovese grapes, 45% with Merlot grapes and 5% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested by hand between September and October. Fermentation takes place in barriques at a controlled temperature of 30-32 ° C for 18 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barriques for about 20 months, and for a further 12 months in the bottle.

Blu is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of red fruits, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. The nose is elegant, complex and pleasantly intense.

Perfect to accompany red meats and meat sauce-based dishes, it is ideal in combination with game and roasts.
