Description

What kind of wine it is

Ferrari's Trento Brut is a sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Trentino. Crafted strictly according to the Traditional Method, it spends at least 24 months on the lees, giving it a fresh and balanced profile. In the glass, it displays a fine and persistent perlage and offers a harmonious sip that combines lively fruity notes with the classic hint of bread crust, making it suitable both as an aperitif and throughout the meal.

Where it comes from

It is born in hillside vineyards located in the municipalities of Val di Cembra and Valle dei Laghi. These two areas give a distinctive touch to the style of this Trento and help maintain a definite freshness on the palate. The altitude ensures optimal ripening for Chardonnay, essential for developing the right acidity and a clean aromatic profile. The mountain environment is ideal for Traditional Method winemaking.

How it is made

Chardonnay bunches are hand-harvested at the end of summer and subjected to the classic white winemaking process. After this stage, the secondary fermentation takes place slowly in the bottle, as required by the Traditional Method. The wine is then aged for at least 24 months on its lees, contributing structure and creating a fine perlage. The result is a Brut focused on aromatic coherence.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it reveals a straw yellow color enlivened by subtle greenish highlights. The nose opens with a fragrant bouquet, dominated by hints of Golden apple and wildflower aromas. On the palate, it is harmonious and balanced, characterized by fruity sensations and the classic note of bread crust from long lees aging. The finish ensures a steady and continuous progression of flavors.

Food pairings

Its remarkable versatility makes this Brut a valuable companion at the table, easily accompanying the aperitif ritual. The vibrant freshness and subtle perlage pair perfectly with many dishes. It is ideal with a full meal, as it keeps the palate refreshed. It remains consistently flavorful even alongside main courses and offers a satisfying experience.

When to serve it

The harmony of this Traditional Method makes it the perfect choice for social gatherings where a reliable sparkling wine is desired. Its elegant profile guarantees a subtle presence at informal get-togethers as well as at formal dinners. The Brut style and careful maturation ensure a balanced sip, allowing you to enjoy a glass with profound freshness and aromatic clarity on any occasion.
