Description

What kind of wine is it

Bonconsey’s Trento Brut Riserva is a Traditional Method sparkling wine produced in Trentino. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Vallagarina, an area ideal for this variety. It undergoes white vinification at a controlled temperature and secondary fermentation in the bottle. Ageing for 36 months on the lees forges a harmonious style that offers a fresh, full-flavored profile.

Where it comes from

The grapes grow on the high hills of the Vallagarina, a Trentino environment suited to producing the Trento appellation. This terroir provides optimal conditions for Chardonnay and promotes an expression of marked finesse. Altitude gives a profile oriented toward balance, essential for the Traditional Method. The bond with the land is evident straight away in its pronounced aromatic purity.

How it is made

Production begins with a white vinification at controlled temperature, necessary to preserve the richness of the must. The base wine then undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle using the Traditional Method to obtain an elegant effervescence. Ageing on the lees lasts 36 months and gives the wine notable structure. This long period allows for an extremely precise palate balance.

Tasting notes

In the glass it shows a straw-yellow color with golden highlights and a continuous perlage. On the nose, fruity notes mingle with hints of bread crust and yeast born of the long ageing. The palate is fresh, full, and remarkably harmonious. The lingering sip ensures a neat finish that the fine, pleasant effervescence keeps balanced.

Food pairings

Its excellent versatility makes it suitable throughout the meal and perfect alongside a range of seafood appetizers. Its harmonious character and precise freshness particularly enhance dishes based on crustaceans, where the persistent perlage balances the tender flesh. Its good structure lets it accompany more substantial courses, confirming that simple seafood cuisine is the optimal choice for this label.

When to serve it

It shines on many occasions and proves an excellent companion from aperitif to the table. Its fresh profile and balanced palate ensure a good pace throughout the meal. It is an excellent choice for seafood lunches, where the long ageing supports every bite with elegance. Serve it whenever you want a harmonious sip capable of fusing fine technical complexity with an always inviting drinkability.
