Description
Casa Sosegada is a red wine produced in the Valencia region, in the area of Fontanars dels Alforins, at an altitude of 700 meters. The vines are situated on small terraces with a sandy and stony surface soil, dry-farmed according to the traditional bush-training method. The varieties used are all indigenous: Monastrell, Forcallà, Arco, Bonicaire and Rojal.
The vinification involves a two-week maceration, with 30% whole bunches, in small stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 12 months in concrete eggs, a choice that helps preserve the freshness and varietal expression of the fruit.
In the glass, it reveals an intense and clear cherry red color. On the nose it is elegant, with notes of yellow cherry and red fruits. The palate offers fleshy and silky tannins, with flavors of ripe and juicy fruit that make the sip harmonious and pleasant.
Perfect paired with roasted or grilled white meat dishes.
