Description
Dos by Rafael Cambra is a red wine made from a blend of Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The grapes come from old vines located in parcels with calcareous and sandy-loam soils, some of which are over fifty years old. The vineyards are cultivated with low yields and are situated in a pedoclimatic context that favors the balance between ripeness and aromatic concentration.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, gentle pump-overs, and manual punch-downs. After about two weeks of maceration at 25 °C, the wine is aged for 14 months in wooden barrels and third- and fifth-use barriques of different capacities, to refine structure and complexity while preserving varietal expression.
In the glass, it shows an intense and bright red color. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and subtle herbal notes emerge. On the palate, the wine displays good structure, soft tannins, and a balanced acidity that supports its freshness, with a long and harmonious finish.
Perfect paired with grilled red meats or medium-bodied roasts.
