The winery Bertani was founded in 1857 by the brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani, in Quinto di Valpantena, north of Verona. High professionalism and quality immediately set the two brothers apart on the Veronese scene, and in 1923 earned them the hallmark of excellence: the Royal Warrant.

For Bertani, the idea of remaining always true to the company's most authentic identity is an essential value, reflected in wines such as the Valpolicella Ripasso, from Corvina Veronese, Merlot and Rondinella grapes. Sourced from vineyards on the hills of Valpantena, it will be the ideal red to pair with grilled meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.

The Valpolicella Ripasso Valpantena from Bertani originates from vineyards located on the hills of Valpantena, a valley to the northeast of Verona, in the expanded Valpolicella area.

It is primarily made with Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes. This wine is obtained from a second fermentation, locally called ripasso.
