Here in Sardinia, where nature is generous, fertile and nurturing, in an unspoilt, wild and pure land, stands Mesa, the winery whose name in the Sardinian dialect means “table” and is a warm invitation to the values of conviviality, friendship and cordiality.
In these places of ancestral memories, in Sant’Anna Arresi, set on the slopes of the valley lie 73 hectares of vineyards, well sheltered from the Mistral and surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. It is here that labels of great character and personality come to life, starting from the area’s typical grape varieties: Carignano, Cannonau and Vermentino, bottles with emotional, evocative, symbolist names, faithful expressions of a region with a memory stretching back millennia. Examples with a numinous aura include Opale, a pure Vermentino of straw-yellow color with golden intensity, Buio Buio, a complex, dense, fleshy and expressive wine whose grapes come from the vineyards of Crabì and Cannigonis and, last but not least, Cannonau Moro, defined by notes of red fruit, geranium and violet, on a backdrop of spices.
