Situated in San Vincenzo a Torri, in the Chianti Colli Fiorentini sub-area, with vineyards stretching between Montespertoli and San Casciano in Val di Pesa, passing through Montalcino, Uggiano is the result of a passion for Tuscan wines nurtured by a group of entrepreneurs from Bergamo, who incorporate in their production methods the expertise of winemaker Giuseppe Losapio, trained in France.
Wines with a traditional Tuscan flavor, rich in extract and aromas that cannot be found elsewhere, whose prolonged aging in French oak barrels and barriques allows them to best express their uniqueness and the care given by a selected team to each individual label.
Among the bottles that deserve special mention are undoubtedly the "Syrà", a pure Syrah awarded 90 points out of 99 by Luca Maroni; and the Chianti Riserva DOCG with the iconic pheasant label which, in addition to being recognized with 91 points by critic James Suckling and 4 Grappoli from the Bibenda guide for the current vintage, earned 3 Medals at the 2018 Sommelier Wine Awards, for critical acclaim, outstanding product quality, and pairing capabilities.
