Der erste Monat des Jahres 2018 bestätigt einen bereits im vergangenen Jahr beobachteten Trend: Primitivo ist die Haupttraube unter den Roten. Sieben von fünfzig Weinen unserer Rangliste, von den fünf Autochthonen von Fantini Farnese , die einen kleinen Prozentsatz enthalten, bis zu den Weinen von Lo Martire, San Marzano und Vespa , die sie in Reinheit vinifizieren, basieren tatsächlich auf dieser Sorte. Nach Apulien sind Valpolicella und Bolgheri die beiden anderen beliebtesten Weingebiete mit sechs bzw. fünf Flaschen. Als wachsendes Phänomen sollte der Eintrag von zwei Bonarda- Labels unter den beliebtesten Weinen des Monats vermerkt werden.
