Description

The Archive 21 Year Old produced by The Glenlivet is a single malt Scotch Whiskey that ages for 21 years in American oak barrels and in oak barrels that previously contained Sherry. Each barrel is handled personally by the master distiller Alan Winchester and each production batch has subtle differences that allow it to be distinguished from all the others, so as to ensure a refined experience for the senses, more unique than rare.

Amber with copper shades to the eye, it accompanies the olfactory experience with aromas of dried fruit and sherry. The palate, warm and syrupy, is embroidered with a sweet spiciness and notes of cinnamon and ginger. The finish is persistent on aromas of toasted hazelnuts.

Ideal to accompany fruit or chocolate desserts.
