Description

The Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhl of the Domaine Zind-Humbrecht is a refined expression of Alsace Pinot Gris, originating from a vineyard parcel - the Clos Windsbuhl - historical for the cultivation of this variety.

100% Pinot Grigio, grown on limestone soils and harvested through a very rigid selection. Fermentation takes place by the action of indigenous yeasts in large unroasted wooden barrels. Within them, the wine ages in the presence of its fine lees for a variable period from year to year.

It affects its golden yellow color. The scent is complex in the fruity texture of yellow peach, citrus fruits, jasmine and dried fruit. The sip is mineral and traces a furrow of flavor, as well as freshness, which finishes the body with a rich structure. It persists in a delicate spicy memory.

Ideal to accompany an almond chicken.
