Description

The Alta Langa Brut by San Silvestro sparkling wine belongs to the Ruj collection, which in Piedmontese means oak, the type of wood used for the ageing of wines.

The wine is made up of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Second fermentation in bottle follows the rules of the Metodo Classico, with an ageing of 30 months on the lees.

Straw yellow in colour with a fine and persistent perlage, the nose reveals floral aromas, tropical fruit and aromas of toasted bread. The sip is balanced, with a persistent finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with fish and shellfish dishes.
