Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2012 Bussola
Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG signed Bussola comes from the beating heart of its area of origin: the town of Negrar, in the province of Verona.
The area is that of Valpolicella, from which Bussola harvest and vinify its Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and other red berried grapes which, in a smaller percentage, contribute to composing the blend of this iconic red. The grapes are selected and harvested from the small vineyard adjacent to the cellar. Let it dry until mid-January, the grapes are sent for vinification, which consists of a very long alcoholic fermentation - up to 55 days - and an aging of at least 30 months in new oak tonneaux. It matures for another 4 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
It reveals, in the glass, its density and its lively and intense ruby red color. The bouquet is reminiscent of ripe fruit and cherry jam, but also chocolate and toasted texture given by long aging. The sip is important, soft full and consistent, tasty in taste and pleasantly fresh in drinking. Of very long persistence.
Ideal in combination with a pork tenderloin in Bagoss sauce
