Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Il Bosco by Gerardo Cesari originates from vineyards located in the hamlet of Castelrotto di San Pietro in Cariano, in the province of Verona.
It is produced mainly with Corvina grapes and a small part of Rondinella grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins for 20-30 days, in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barriques and large Slovenian oak barrels before bottling.
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Il Bosco is characterized by an intense ruby red color with purplish highlights. On the nose, it opens with the characteristic blend of cherry notes, spices, cocoa, and bitter almonds. On the palate, it is warm and velvety, pleasantly full and elegant.
Perfect for accompanying red meats, game, and aged cheeses, this Amarone is ideal for accompanying moments of relaxation and meditation.
