Description

This wine case brings together Appassimento and other generous Italian reds, with ripe fruit, a supple texture and spice taking centre stage. Here, appassimento wines and Ripasso from Veneto are joined by a big, sun‑ripened Primitivo from Puglia. In the glass, expect dark berries, ripe cherries, plums and spice, with plenty of fruit and silky tannins. Wines that shine with slow‑cooked autumn dishes, a good cut of meat, aged cheeses and dinners that are made to linger. A flavour‑packed selection for those who love Appassimento and want to discover more Italian reds in the same full‑bodied, generous style.
