Description
Barbados Rum Doorly's 12 Years of the Foursquare distillery is obtained from an assembly of distilled rums partly in single column and partly in pot still alembic, aged for at least 12 in ex-Bourbon barrels and for a small percentage in barrels previously used for aging of Madeira Portuguese fortified wine.
At the sight of copper color with red reflections, it has an intense aroma of chocolate and toffee, to which elegant toasted notes are added. On the palate it is soft with hints of dried red fruit and banana, due only to the passage in ex-Madeira barrels.
Perfect to serve both smooth and with ice, it can create sophisticated cocktails.
