Description
Plantation Extra Old XO 20th Anniversary Rum comes from the Caribbean island of Barbados. It is made entirely from sugar cane molasses and then aged for 12 years in oak barrels that previously contained bourboun, refining for an additional 18-24 months in France, in ex-cognac barrels.
Amber in color, with mahogany reflections, Plantation's 20th Anniversary Rum opens to the nose in all its richness and complexity, with hints of exotic fruit and sugar cane, enriched with pleasant notes derived from the passage in barrels such as vanilla, cocoa and pepper. On the palate it is complex and well balanced, with spicy, creamy and toasted notes.
Excellent meditation rum.
