Description
Barbera d'Alba Gepin was born in vineyards located in the fabulous panorama of Barbaresco, an area known for the production of wines of great value.
It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested between mid and late September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for about 30 months before being bottled.
It is characterized by a garnet red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of berries, enriched with pleasant notes of wood. On the palate it is round and pleasantly soft, with a rich structure and ripe tannins.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
